Adobe Illustrator CS2 is amazing. More specifically, "Live Trace" is amazing. It's described as- "Quickly and accurately convert photos, scans, or other bitmap images to editable and scalable vector paths". And that it does, and very well I might add.

Here's the original "voodoo dude" sketch I did for the VoodooPad icon (done in Painter):

The original is on the left. I can blow it way up without getting pixelated images.

I'm just... amazed. It works really really well. It makes me want to take up drawing again.
