Kirstin, myself, and my Uncle Bill went to see ZZ Top, Ted Nugent (heh), and Kenny Wayne Shepherd this weekend. I really just wanted to see KWS because he was playing with Double Trouble, Stevie Ray Vaughan's old band. I was pretty glad I saw them, that was the highlight for me even though they opened, and the last song they played was "Voodoo Child", a favorite of SRV.
Ted Nugent is a nut- it was more of a comedy show for me than anything else... I won't go into details, because I don't even know how to describe it, but if you know anything about Ted, this was everything you've ever heard plus some.
ZZ Top was fun, they sounded better than I expected and I got to see the furry white guitars they are know for :)
This will however also be the last time I go out to Riverport/UMB Pavilion. The 20 dollar lawn seats turned into 30 dollars apiece after "convenience charges" and "service fees", and then they wanted 15 dollars to park. Screw you Clear Channel (they own the amphitheater), you will not have any more of my money.
Anyway, back to searching through
VoodooPad
's code for FIXME markers.
