StarROMs From the site: "StarROMs was established to provide an inexpensive and legal source for classic video games." I found out about this link on slashdot, and from reading the comments it looks like everyone is bashing it, saying it'll never work. But I think it's great. I still haven't bought from the iTunes music store, but I'm willing to bet I'll buy a couple of these games... hobbyists bringing what they love to other folks. It's a great idea- and the most expensive game is 6 bucks! comments (0) # posted 10:18 pm (uct-6) Lick Me, I'm A Macintosh "This is what Apple does. This is what they are known for and why their design team is so famous and why they win so many awards and why they engender such passionate devotion from their adherents and why Macs are still far, far superior to PCs and always will be. It's true." comments (0) # posted 3:17 pm (uct-6) My personal econo-meter is telling me that things might start to be turning around a little bit with regards to the St. Louis job scene. Over the past couple of days I've been contacted by four different headhunters- one of which is looking to fill a unix programmer position (which I don't see very often), and another with sixteen java positions open. Wowsers- sixteen?!? I'm not looking for a job right now, but if any of my local friends are- I've got some contacts for you... comments (0) # posted 12:04 am (uct-6) |
