Tell Gus what you think, but remember- you are in his home. Be a good guest.
These are some tasty visualisations.
Would you happen to know by any chance what (if any) toolkit he used to get these results ? Or is it plain Cocoa graphics ?
(please excuse me if my question reveals my poor knowledge of the mac frameworks)
I wanted to ask the questions directly on Chris' blog, but commenting is not possible there.

One of these days I'll get a real blogging system...
Everything you see in FuzzMeasure is custom visualization code. I wrote all the graphing constructs completely on my own over the past two years in pure Objective-C, using Cocoa and Quartz. Lots of hard work in there, but it all paid off in the end.

Hey Chris,
impressive work. Unfortunately, I don't have use for an audio analysis tool, and that's a pity when I see the quality of the output - they're by far the nicest-looking vis I've seen. The on-screen quality of your figures is near-perfect. You don't have plans on using these plotting tools in some kind of scientific vis package, would you ;-) ?
(or releasing them as a separate framework, but I would understand if you'd want to hold on to them...)
Anyway, nice work, and Gus sorry for hijacking your blog :-P
