One thing really, really I don't understand, is why these Yahoos don't default to SSL! And even if you log in via SSL they switch back to an unencrypted connection afterwards. What's wrong with these people? %-)

Am I the only one still seeing the old Yahoo! Mail? I'm using Camino and have even tried logging out and creating a new account. no love. The waiting continues.

Christian-- I think it's an SSL scalability issue (and I'm sure any device like an F5 or Alteon that advertises the ability to off-load SSL to dedicated hardware actually works well on our scale), though I've never asked the Ymail folks directly.
