Lost Garden has a new post up entitled "Lessons about failure". It's got interesting quotes from Shigeru Miyamoto (Nintendo) about finding the fun in games early on. It's a good philosophy that I think can translate to developing applications as well.

A quote: "Embracing failure is a fundamental lesson of good design and one that is not taught nearly enough". I'd surely agree with that. I've certainly learned as much from failure than from success over the past couple of years, even if I don't always follow the lessons learned (*cough* documentation *cough*).

Anyway, I'm quoting from a post that's quoting from a post. Go read it.
