NewsGator's mac department (aka Brent Simmons) has put out an alpha build of NetNewsWire 3. I've been using it for a while and I'm digging it. I especially like the new vertical tabs.

It's an alpha/dev build so technically it has sharp edges and will steal your girlfriend as soon as you aren't looking, but it's goodness anyway.
