More news on the osx86/ICBM* front! Cabel Sasser has some pics and a video up of installing winxp on an imac, and Half Life 2. Wow, Half Life 2 looks pretty stunning. I should play more games. Wow, winxp's installer is ... so ... well ... windowsish. And Parallels has a beta of their vm product for intel macs up. This lets you run other intel based os's in a window, just like virtual pc, only way faster. Seriously faster. The only drawback that I've seen to this is that the user interface is horrid. Absolutely retched. Vomit in a bucket kind of bleeeeeeeeeeh. But hey, it's fast. And it's a lot better than rebooting. (*ICBM = Intel Chip Based Macs) comments (3) # posted 2:26 pm (uct-6) |
