Ok, this cracks me up- Bill Bumgarner has this to say about his birthday today:

"I would have been born on the 9th, but the local university basketball team [MU Tigers] went into overtime during a pivotal game in the season. So, the Doc put Mom on hold and I was born on the 10th."

I wonder who MU was playing... I hope it was Kansas, and I hope Mizzou kicked their asses.

... Even though I was born and raised in St. Louis, I consider Columbia my home, since I had some really good times and friends when I went to school and worked there.
